Biography

James Kibler graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1966 with a B.A. and with a Ph.D. in 1970. He taught at the University of South Carolina in English and the University of Georgia for over thirty years. He wrote several academic publications. Many of his books were written about South Carolina's history and culture. He is the editor of Dutch Fork Press. He has also edited several works written by William Gilmore Simms.
